When it comes to acne products there is a wide variety of different kinds to choose from. Over the counter acne products are plentiful. Their purpose is to either help with active acne or prevent it from occurring. Acne products that are designed to help keep your pores from clogging up and prevent acne, like Clearasil, often contain the ingredient Benzoyl Peroxide.
Two acne products that remove acne are Alpha Hydroxy and Salicyclic Acid by peeling off the top layer of skin. These ingredients can be fond in eye creams, moisturizers and some sunscreens.
Some natural oils can also be effective as acne products. Tree oil helps to kill bacteria that causes the formation of acne. Rosewood oil and lavender oil can also be effective.
Finally there are also prescription acne products that can be prescribed by a doctor. These may be oral medications or other types of anti-biotics.
